Jersey Shore Views...: What Pets Do If Santa Hasn't Listened

What Pets Do If Santa Hasn't Listened

What happens if your dog doesn't get what he wants for Christmas? Well some dogs turn to crime!

A true story out of Murray, Utah shows a 4 legged thief on surveillance video, heading into Smith's Food and Drug Store, heading straight for aisle 16 (pet supplies), picking up a rawhide bone and exiting the store!

Don't believe it, neither did I til I watched the video.  You've got to see it this!

Laura...

What are you doing up so late at night looking at doggie videos?

That is crazy!  I can't believe that happened.  If I would not have seen it, I would have never believed it.

Sounds like a well trained dog to me...that video should spark  a rash of PET THIEVES!

Laura, this was too funny. I wouldn't have believed it either until I saw it. Thanks for the chuckle.

There is no such thing as a bad dog, just bad owners. Poor fella just needed a little treat. I give him four paws up!!

Hi Laura

Dogs are feeling the strain of the economy, and now taking thing in their own hands. Look for an increased level of crime among pets.

Good luck and success

Laura:  It would almost seem like a trick that someone trained this dog to do.  Unreal.  I sure hope that isn't the case....it's very cute to think this dog did this on his own...no coaching.

I guess we all have to counsel our pets on the right and wrong of theft.

Laura, that is a lovely dog. I kind of feel that the store might use this to do free marketing. I hope the dog was not true. :-)

Hi Laura:

That video was GREAT!  I can't believe the manager of the store told him to drop it...geez, I'll send the $2.79 for the darn bone...

Thanks for sharing...it goes to show us how smart they are!

It's a shame that some dogs turn to this.

Posted by JL Boney, III Columbia, SC Real Estate (Russell and Jeffcoat) about 3 years ago

I saw this on the news.

It seemed that the dog knew exactly what he was looking for when he walked in to that store.

Hysterical!

That was so funny....smart pooch. Knew exactly what he wanted, where to get it, and how to get out of there. Thanks for sharing. Had to share with a few others who will get a kick out of this.

I think that dog belonged to the four-year-old child who snuck out of his house to go to the store to play video games, and of all nights for the owner to forget to lock the door!

Best wishes for health, happiness, peace, and prosperity in 2009.

Laura,

Thank you for sharing the video.  I got a few chuckles out of it.   I wonder if the dog came back after that day and whether they posted his picture in the store to be on alert for his return.  Happy New Year!

Laura,  That was so funny it made my day!  Probably the ONLY shoplifter to actually get away with it....I suspect he/she will be back...
