Remember at Least One...

After reading Pattie Romano's blog, I took sometime and visited www.project2996.com.  I took several moments to remember that tragic morning, and said a prayer for the lost souls, their friends and their families.

As suggested on the website, I decided to read up on one of the victims, lest none be forgotten.  As we remember all those who lost their lives on this day 7 years ago, meet one of the victims.  I met Craig today!

Craig Staub"Craig Staub, 30, was tragically and innocently killed at the WTC where he worked as a Senior Vice President for Keefe, Bruyette & Woods. He was in the South Tower on the 89th floor. Craig was an investor and analyst for this Wall Street firm that specializes in Banking and Financial Services. He graduated from Boston University in 1992, Summa Cum Laude. For those who knew Craig, he was an exceptional human being full of humor, intelligence, compassion and life.

Craig met his wife Stacey in 1994 and they were married on June 25, 2000.

Their daughter, Juliette Craig W. Staub, was born on what would have been Craig's 31st birthday, September 22, 2001, 11 days after the terrorist attack.

It's like yesterday, turning my head and see the plane hit the tower and then the second one, my God, and the thoughts that rain thru my head. Kenny was suppose to meet Kristian for breakfast there, Mark is working up in one of those towers, Ann is in the towers, oh God, she was there when they bombed them too.

We clung to hope and we prayed. My cousin Kenny and his daughter was late and never got there in time. Mark was on the last elevator down. Ann, heard the noise picked up her pocketbook, put sneakers on and went right to the stirway and walked down.
