Getting Back to Normal - Post Sandy at the Jersey Shore! (Wordless Wednesday)

I thought I'd share some photos of the Jersey Shore.  We're cleaning up, but there's a lot left to do.

The Storm wasn't even here yet! (That's the Barnegat Bay on the other side of the Pavillion.)
Little Egg Harbor's Osborn Island - Post Sandy

This was the first time they let cars and residents back onto Osborn Island.  Floating docks were everywhere but the lagoons where they below.
The Clean Up Continues

The clean up continues!

Hopefully many will be back in their homes for the holidays. Looks like there is a lot of work to do!

Laura, I too hope that these homes can be saved and that the residents can be home for the Holidays!

Richard I think for many getting back in by the holidays will be a stretch...actually this part of Ocean County was spared the worst of it.

William, we are Jersey Tough!

Patricia, I love the Great Gatsby!

DeeDee it will take a while but we'll be back!

Tony & Darcy it's take some time but the support from around the country has been fantastic.

Hi Laura, I feel so bad for all the people who lost their homes, their property and some I read still have no power yet so I hope they can get the repairs done and power back on before Christmas. I hope for Thanksgiving too but probably too soon.

Laura, I know it's going to take a long while for things to get back to normal, but I know you will...it's hard for anyone to understand what you're going through unless they've experienced it themselves.

Many thoughts and prayers have been sent your way and know that New Jersey has the strength to make everything new.....and better than ever.
