We've been hearing about Little Egg Harbor's Osborn Island Bridge replacement for some time now, heck I've been writing about it for over a year...

Atlantic Electric has already installed new polls to Osborn Island, once it gets the old utility poles out, we'll be on our way to a bigger and better Little Egg Harbor Osborn Island bridge.

Laura - always good when a plan comes together in the name of progress. Hope the replacement has as much character.

The bridge is worthy of replacement.  It looks a little precarious in its present condition!  A good hurricane could likely take it out:-)

Some needed projects take a long time to get approved.  After that it is the inconvenience of the project.  After that is the benefit!

Laura,

It's a disruption but so worth it when it's done. :)

Thanks everyone for taking a look at the replacement work on Little Egg Harbor's Osborn Island Bridge replacement...I'm thinking if Sandy is bad enough, contractors will get some help on demolition!
