Take Time to Look At Things Like a Kid!

I remember growing up in the Great Swamp in north Jersey.  We rode horses, stayed out until the street lights came on and made up scary stories about Swamp dwellers.  Those Swamp dwellers could be lurking in the Black Brook, or in trees...

Mothra at Cloverdale Farm Park in Barnegat NJ

This is not located in the Great Swamp, but the Cloverdale Farm Park in Barnegat at the Jersey Shore.

Looking at it through a kid's eye, looks like Mothra to me!

Great advice - kids seem to have the most fun so we should emulate them ourselves. Regards Dave

Take a ride through Sleepy Hollow Park at night and then your imagination will run wild. Especially when the mist moves in.

Remember it takes more muslces to frown then smile. You see kids happy and smiling all the time until society/grown ups take that away from most.  Smile and see how much better things go...

It does resemble Mothra doesn't it.  Complete with antenna atop its head!  It is rare when the kid in me leaves, much to my family's chagrin:-)

Laura, That is some good advice!  Kids see things with so much imagination that whatever they're seeing can become anything!

The camera sometimes forces me to do this.  Life thru the eyes of a child sees a lot more than we do.

Hi Laura, That is a great photo of the swamp creature and I can just imagine how it looks in the moonlight, :-)

Laura, I'm sure the "creature" in your photo would look much like a large insect beast on the prowl at night.
