Hurricane Irene Prep at the Jersey Shore - Don't Forget Your Real Estate Signs

Hurricane Irene is heading directly for the Jersey Shore, and everyone on the east coast path of this major storm is in preparation mode.

One thing you might not have thought of is your real estate signs.  The Atlantic City and County Board of REALTORS® is urging all REALTORS® to remove lawn signs so they don't contribute to property damage.  Take 'em down now, it will be safer and will probably save you time and money after the storm.  (It's a good idea to remove all non permanent signs.)

Just what you needed, one more thing to do before Hurricane Irene hits the Jersey Shore!  Stay safe!

(By the way, there won't be an Open House this Sunday!)

Yes, if they aren't taken down they'll probably get blown to the next state.

Laura - I was thinking about you when I watched the weather and they showed the path of the storm headed right for the Jersey Shore. Smart of you to mention removing Realtor signs - they would be very dangerous flying through the air! Take care and best of luck! If you get a chance - take some photos and post them!

It is a great idea.  Ihave seen bad weather approaching a listing of mine and have called the owner to do just that.
