What's That All About (Silent-ish Saturday)

How many times have you just zipped off to an appointment without really noticing your surroundings?

Though I don't talk on the phone or text while driving, my mind does wander.

I traveled down W Bay Avenue in Barnegat yesterday afternoon, and out of the corner of my eye I saw a homemade sign.  I was already passed it so I made a point of slowing down on my way back...

W Bay Avenue in Barnegat NJ

There's got to be some kind of story here!

W Bay Avenue, Barnegat NJ

Can anyone explain??

Laura - definitely weird, but if I had to guess I think someone got really burned! Would love to know the story behind it! BTW - sometimes while driving I'll get from point A to B and not remember the drive at all - scary!

Looks like a divorce situation. I know I felt that way when I was first divorced. Let us know what the story is. Make a call!

Kristine-I do the same thing!

Kathy - Who knows, if I make a call, maybe I'll get a listing!!

My reaction was Single for Life And Proud of it.

Someone wants everyone to know he/she's not looking!

I have no problem understanding that sign.  It only takes one or two bad relationships to act as a catalyst for a sign like that. . .LOL

Laura,

I agree. Did this person get the house in a settlement or did they have it all along? :)

Laura - this is a great photo for a Photo Story Blog.  I would love knowing the story behind this one.  I think she likely got burned badly.  Then there is the fact that she is announcing to the world that she is single....putting out a carrot.  NOW, here I am assuming it is a she, my bad!  I think he/she doth protest too loudly, and will also give it even less than 3 years.

Laura, in the words of Thoreau:  "I never found a companion that was so companionable as solitude."

Reference my emails earlier....divorce does strange things to people...can't say I have seen it advertised quite like this before !
