Laura....You know me too well.  Tanner and I will try to do something from the website....We are already planning to Plant a tree tomorrow, and he has some bulbs from school to get into the ground.  We are all about Earth Day, and I can't wait to sit down with him tonight, view the website, and see what he comes up with :0)

Gonna reblog this too....Shouldn't be too difficult to get a Billion Acts of Green!

Hi Laura, I did check out that site...gotta tell you that I already do most of the things I saw people pledging to do...although it's kind of hard to drive less considering the business we are in and the vegan thing simply isn't me.

Laura this is very cool!  Love that there's tons of ideas already out there, takes away the excuse of having to come up with something original :)

It seems I'm becoming "greener" as the years go by.  But, I'm not a vegan either.  I have spent too many lifetimes working my way up the food chain.  It's not possible for me to be a vegetarian:-)

Laura - I bought those green shopping totes so I don't have to use plastic and or paper at the grocery store and stopped buy buying bottled water and bought a water purifier - working in the right direction! Great and inspirational post - we should all be doing our part to go greener!

Our recycle bin always "runneth over" and we always have some extra shopping bags in the trunk for the times you make unexpected stops at the grocery store.
