Manahawkin Homes for Sale - 2011 First Quarter Housing Market Report - Manahawkin, NJ

The first quarter report of home sales in Manahawkin is a mixed bag.  There's good news.  In March 2011 there were 45 homes under contract and almost half of those are Manahawkin waterfront homes.  So far this year, 24  waterfront homes in Manahawkin have sold.  

There are 163 waterfront homes for sale, priced between $165,000 for a 'contractor's dream' on Mallard Island to $949,000 for a Barnegat Bay front home in Beach Haven West.

Homes sales remained stable during 2011's first quarter, and days on the market decreased.  But when compared to the housing market in the first quarter of 2010, the price of homes sold in Manahawkin took a big hit.

The figures from Manahawkin homes under contract and sold in the first quarter of 2010 might be skewed because at the time there were tax credits being offered to first time home buyers.

Laura - good information in your report.  Hopefully the market will be good now that the weather is nice.  I would imagine you have some great water front and water view properties which should be calling to the beach folks.
