Tall Tales from the Pastor's Breakfast Table! (Humor)

Sunday's a big day for the pastor's family.  It starts with a big breakfast, before church.

This Sunday, the pastor’s wife was preparing waffles for her two young sons.

As is often the case, the boys began to argue over who would get the first waffle.

Their Mom saw this as an opportunity for a moral lesson.

She told the boys, "If Jesus were sitting here, He would say, 'Let my brother have the first waffle. I can wait'."

The oldest boy quickly turned to his younger brother and said, "You be Jesus."

It's Monday, Smile & Make it a Great Week!

Teaching children are never easy... especially when it comes to sharing.

I sure hope we'll be able to train up our children in the way that they should go so that when they grow up, they'll never depart from it =)

James-Unfortunately I don't think as many children are learning those lessons today.

Hehehehe...Good Morning Laura!  This is why I have only ONE Child (just kidding, it's because I am exhausted).  Forwarding this to my son's Jamma...She'll love it!  I make waffles, but they come out of the freezer and I could toast 2 at the same time if I had to :0)

Laura - now that's funny and just the way a kid would think - hell, the way an adult would think. Thanks for the laugh!

Laura, the inventor of the waffle knew this would be a problem. That's why it's easy to cut the waffle down the middle or into quarters if there happens to be four unruly boys at the table.

Smart little guy!  Clever and wit can win the day!  I thought the lesson was going to be splitting the baby thus splitting the waffle but the joke's route was much better.

At 16 and 13, my boys may just as well try to lay claim on ALL the waffles. Of course, the only way to be fair is to make sure mom gets the first one. )

You gotta love kids. Their minds work in wonderful, sometimes scary, ways.

Way too funny, Laura! As usual, it looks like the younger brother gets the shorter end of the stick.
