The Wildwoods
I think there was some ballot box stuffing for the Wildwoods, but could be the severe winter storms and beach erosion that caused Long Beach Island’s drop from the number 2 spot on the 2010 Best Beaches in New Jersey list.
Long Beach Island, NJ

Personally, I like Spring Lake.

Originally being from New Jersey being on the sand, New Jersey has great beaches.
Good luck and success.

Laura...
We summered at Long Beach Island when I was a kid. I hope that it is as beautiful now as it was then!
Laura...I have not been one for the beach, but put me ON the water and I am happy.
Looks like site/sight seeing 101 on the Jersey shore....bet there is lots of eye candy both in terms of nature...and ummmm....all that body beauty...have a great weekend !
I can't believe Asbury Park made the list. I must have missed soemthing. The last time I was there, it was a depressed area....wow....should I take a ride to check this out....or just go to Ocean Grove next door?
Thank you for the list. The Jersey Shore in the favorite vacation destination for people in Philadelphia and suburbs.
Laura, the last time I was in NJ was when I was 9 years old and spent the summer there. My Aunt and Uncle had a home then in Ridgewood. They took my cousins an I to Asbury Park on a regular basis...lots of fun...good memories.
