Well as the investigation into the sudden acceleration in Toyotas continues, it would appear so. The problem continues to fill the headlines, and federal regulators (the mystery men) are now checking to see if the problem is the result of Cosmik Debris.
As automobiles become more and more dependent on computer systems, regulators want to see if the same Cosmik Debris (ray) problems that occur in air planes and spacecraft computers might be the cause of the acceleration problems. It could be...at least half of the complaints to regulators involve autos other than Toyota.
Now who you jivin' with that Cosmik Debris? ...It worked for Frank Zappa!

Laura, I always love your Zappaism's. It was great watching that, haven't heard that one in a long time.
Laura...
I loved Zappa and the Mothers of Invention. Unfortunately, he left us all too soon!
Zappa was definitely a smart man. His work with Lech Walesa and our own congress proved that time and time again.
Maybe he was right.
"Who you jiving with that cosmic debris?"
I too am an old Frank Zappa fan. He was way ahead of his time in many ways.
Hi Laura:
I stopped by to wish you a Happy St Patrick's Day from the team at National Credit Fixers!
:)
Laura, I dont know if we can blame cosmic debris on the Toyota situation. However, I loved Frank Zappa and that song. Thanks for posting it.
Laura, well that's news to me, but I sure don't discount it.
Love Zappa...got to see his kids on tour a few years ago at the Auditorium Theater in Chicago and they were great. Thanks for posting the video.
Who knew that a guy who raised a crop of dental floss could predict the fall of Toyota. What ever is causing all the problems, I hope they figure it out soon.
That is an interesting theory. Never thought of that before, and I would certainly take that into account. Frank Zappa -- whenever I see felllow Blogger Nick Zappa, I'm always want to ask him "Any relation" -- which I'm sure he NEVER gets ;-)
Hello Laura - I loved Frank Zappa too! Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
