Snow in Manahawkin...Yep The Jersey Shore Got Hit!

The Jersey Shore was hit hard by this weekend's storm...It dumped up to two feet of snow in some areas like Manahawkin, with drifts of 3 feet or more.

Manahawkin home owners and our road crews had their work cut out for them...in Manahawkin side streets were not cleared until mid afternoon Sunday.  Main through streets in Manahawkin; Lighthouse, Nautilus, and Mermaid were passable but really a mess.

The snow ended in Manahawkin around 7am Sunday.  It was a beautiful and quiet morning.

I have a couple of comments.
Perhaps we'll have a white Christmas :-}and God Bless the inventor of the snow blower, the best gadget ever!

Laura, I bought my snow blower as an insurance policy so it wouldn't snow, but nature won out and it got a good workout this weekend. Have a good Holiday!

For the last few years, the east coast seams to be getting alot more snow than the Midwest usually gets.  I am still trying to decide if I should be jelous or not...NOT! :-)

Gita, how did you fare in Bucks County with this storm?

Frank, my Uncle in Long Hill Township (Meyersville) got 18 inches.  He's back there in the Great Swamp.

Hi Michael, my snow blower mojo worked for 2 years.  The mojo quit last year!

Toula, it was crazy down here.  How are the roads in Forked River?

Tony, I'm with you!!

Betina, I'd love to!

Lou, I need more socks!

I don't know how you do it William!

Tony & Darcy, it's warming up which is a good thing.  But a white Christmas would be nice!  Thanks.

Caron & JL I wonder if it's the only storm we'll get!  If not, I'll share!!!
