There were 49 new listings of homes for sale in Barnegat last month, bringing the average number of Barnegat homes for sale to 337 units.  The number of homes sold in Barnegat in May, 2010 was 27, up from the April, 2010 Barnegat Housing Market Housing Market Report.

Compare those figures to one year ago.  The sold price of homes for sale in Barnegat changed little, but the number of days on the market increased substantially increased and the number of Barnegat homes under contract showed a substantial decrease.

 Of the homes sold in Barnegat in May, 2010 10 were Barnegat adult community homes, 4 were Barnegat condos and one a Barnegat short sale, according to the Jersey Shore Multiple Listing Service.

There were an average of 480 homes for sale in Manahawkin (Stafford Township) during the month of May, 2010.  That's an increase of ten homes for sale over the April, 2010 Manahawkin Housing Market Report.

New listings of homes for sale in Manahawkin are down from the figures reported by the Jersey Shore Multiple Listing Service in April., But the number of homes sold and under contract in Manahawkin are up, as is the median sold price!  

May, 2009 figures indicate homes for sale in Manahawkin are spending less time on the market today, and prices are way down..

Of the homes sold in Manahawkin in May 2010 4 were in Stafford Township adult communities, 12 were Manahawkin waterfront homes, one was a foreclosure and 5 were Manahawkin short sales.

The number of homes for sale in Little Egg Harbor during the month of May stood at 454, up slightly from the April 2010 Housing Market Report.

Generally, a more favorable Little Egg Harbor Housing Market Report than one year ago if you look at days on the market and sale price.

According to the Jersey Shore Multiple Listing Service, of the homes sold in Little Egg Harbor in May, 2010 there was one Little Egg Harbor condo, five homes sold in Little Egg Harbor’s adult communities (Sea Oaks, Mystic Shores and Sunrise Bay) and three homes were foreclosures in Little Egg Harbor.
