How Can You Be Hunrgy In Sandwich, Massachusetts?

You'd think in a place called Sandwich, Massachusetts there'd be plenty to eat.  Well at least one harbor seal thought so!

She traveled about two miles from the Cape Cod Bay up a creek to find her way to the Sandwich Fish Hatchery. Cape Cod Times Photo

She then found the lagoon with the largest trout and dove in. There she feasted on trout for several hours before being captured by Cape Cod Stranding Network.

They tagged the wayward seal and released her, probably with a killer headache after her 3 hour feast!

Here's Cape Cod Times YouTube video of this tenacious harbor seal!
